D'Cota Dixon locked up Wisconsin's Week 1 win over LSU, and he just did the same on the final play of Wisconsin vs. Nebraska.
The Badgers and Huskers went to overtime at Camp Randall tonight, in a pivotal Big Ten West battle. The Badgers struck first on a fantastic touchdown run by Dare Ogunbowale. Near disaster struck, however, when Andrew Endicott missed the ensuing extra point, making the Wisconsin lead six instead of seven.
The Badgers defense stepped up on Nebraska's drive, though. After holding the Huskers to just three yards on their first three plays, safety D'Cota Dixon made a fantastic break on a throw to the end zone by Tommy Armstrong, and broke up the attempt to Stanley Morgan Jr.
With the win, Wisconsin moves to 6-2, and 3-2 in Big Ten play. This is Nebraska's first loss of the season; the Huskers are now 7-1 (4-1). Wisconsin travels to Northwestern next Saturday, while Nebraska has a very tough game at Ohio State.
