Former Wisconsin running back Montee Ball, who played two seasons in the NFL for the Denver Broncos, has been sentenced to 60 days in jail, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Ball will serve back-to-back 30-day sentences after pleading guilty to two charges of disorderly conduct and one charge of battery.
Ball faced six charges, many of which related to domestic violence. He was also given 18 months probation. He is currently undergoing alcohol counseling.

Ball had a very successful college career, rushing for nearly 2,000 yards in consecutive seasons in 2011 and 2012. He was drafted in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft by Denver, where he rushed for 731 yards and five touchdowns in two seasons of action.
Ball is still just 25 years old. Let's hope he gets his life back on track.
