Photo: Wisconsin Football's New Uniform Combination Features Cardinal Helmet, Jersey, Pants

The Wisconsin football team has some of the most classic uniforms in the country. The Badgers normally wear a cardinal jersey with white pants while playing at home, and a white jersey with cardinal pants on the road. Rarely does the Madison-based program veer from this set. 

It appears Wisconsin will have a new combination come Fall, featuring a cardinal-and-black helmet, the cardinal jersey and cardinal pants. It's never been worn before.

Wisconsin has worn a cardinal jersey with cardinal pants before, and the Badgers debuted the cardinal helmet last season. What game will they break out this new combo for? Wisconsin opens the season Aug. 30 against LSU in Houston.
