Son Of Former NBA Player Commits To Big Ten Program

The son of a former NBA player announced his commitment on Tuesday afternoon.

Tai Strickland, the son of NBA great Rod Strickland, took to Twitter to announce his commitment.

He's headed to Wisconsin.

Here's his announcement.

His father, Rod, is a former first-round draft pick. He was selected by his hometown New York Knicks in the 1988 NBA Draft.

Strickland played in the NBA from 1988-2005. He played for nine teams during his career.

Meanwhile, his son is a three-star point guard from the 2019 class, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He's the No. 53 point guard in the class.
