Video: Wisconsin Football Claims The Heartland Trophy After Win Over Iowa

Watch Wisconsin football players take back The Heartland Trophy after beating their rival the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The No. 10 Wisconsin Badgers took down the Iowa Hawkeyes today, 17-9, and move to 5-2 on the season while the Hawkeyes fall to 5-3.

As a result, the Badgers were able to rebound from two straight losses to Ohio State and Michigan, but more importantly, they were able reclaim The Heartland Trophy after losing it last year.

Watch the players celebrate the win below:

The rivalry between Wisconsin and Iowa goes all the way back to 1894 when the teams first played, though the brass bull trophy was first introduced in 2004. Wisconsin has dominated the series as of late, winning four of the last five match-ups.

The Badgers are now 45-43-2 versus the Hawkeyes, and have bragging rights until the two teams meet again.

Wisconsin takes on No. 8 Nebraska next Saturday at 7:00 p.m. E.T. and the game will be broadcast on ABC.
