Wisconsin football had a fantastic 2017 season, but the Badgers won't be wasting any time basking in its glow.

Wisconsin football ran through its schedule without a blemish until the Big Ten Championship. In Indianapolis, the Badgers fell to Ohio State, for their only loss of the year.

They bounced back from that game with an impressive Orange Bowl performance. Wisconsin beat Miami in an essential road game 34-24.

2017 proved to be one of the great Wisconsin seasons ever. At 13-1, Wisconsin posted its highest win total ever.

The Badgers have been incredibly impressive for a while now. However, they had only won 12 games once ever, in 2006 under Bret Bielema.

Wisconsin narrowly missed out on the College Football Playoff. After the Ohio State loss, UW was sixth in the final College Football Playoff rankings, two spots from the field.

Next season, Wisconsin will again be the favorite in the Big Ten West. The team returns many of the starters from this year's squad, including Heisman favorite Jonathan Taylor at running back.

None of last year's accomplishments matter any more, according to the team's new off-season slogan. As the focus turns to 2018, Wisconsin has a new mantra: "Nobody cares. Work harder."

Wisconsin unveiled the phrase in the above video. In it, a few Badger players are shown wearing workout gear, on which it is featured.

The push for the College Football Playoff begins on August 31. Wisconsin opens its season with a home game against Western Kentucky.
