Wisconsin’s football program has been great for the past few years, but there’s something special brewing this fall. Paul Chryst continues to lead his team to double-digit victories as conference play is in full swing.
The most impressive part about the Badgers this season is how they’re handling schools from Michigan.
Central Michigan didn’t really stand a chance against Wisconsin coming into this year. However, most experts thought Michigan and Michigan State could pose a threat.
Well, the Wolverines were handed an embarrassing loss back in September and the Spartans are on the verge of receiving a beatdown of their own.
If you combine every halftime lead Wisconsin had against a team from Michigan this year, the Badgers would lead 89-0 at halftime.
Here’s the breakdown for those three games:
Wisconsin against Michigan teams in the first half this season:
‣ Central Michigan: 44-0
‣ Michigan: 28-0
‣ Michigan State: 17-0
‣ All Michigans: 89-0

Talk about being dominant on both sides of the football.
Jonathan Taylor receives most of the credit for Wisconsin’s success – and right fully so – but the defense has been the real difference-maker.
The defense has already kept opponents scoreless on three separate occasions. A fourth shutout could be on the horizon if Wisconsin keeps Michigan State off the scoreboard in the second half.
To put it nicely, the Badgers own the state of Michigan this year.
