Wisconsin Junior TE Is Reportedly Considering A Transfer

Wisconsin tight end Kyle Penniston has entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal, according to a report from 247Sports.

Penniston has one year of eligibility remaining. He appeared in 39 games over his career with the Badgers, including all 13 in 2018.

Penniston made three receptions for 18 yards and one score this past fall. For his career in Madison, he caught 16 passes for 176 yards and four touchdowns.

After redshirting in 2015, Penniston assumed a role as a backup tight end over the next three seasons.

Penniston was a three-star recruit and the No. 13 overall tight end in the 2015 class, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

By entering the transfer portal, it enables him to be contacted by other programs as he searches for a new destination.
