Wisconsin Running Back Corey Clement Wants To Rush For "No Less" Than 2,000 Yards This Season

Melvin Gordon, one of the greatest running backs in the history of the Wisconsin football program, will certainly be missed in Madison, Wisc., this season.

He won't be too missed if Corey Clement has the type of season he's aiming for, though.

At Big Ten Media Days in Chicago, Gordon's replacement at tailback for the Badgers said his personal goal for the season is to rush for "no less" than 2,000 yards.

Gordon totaled 2,587 yards and 29 touchdowns on the ground last season. Clement, as a backup, ran for 949 yards and nine touchdowns.
