Rushing will become a graduate transfer in the spring.

Senior Wisconsin wide receiver George Rushing announced on Thursday that he will be transferring out of the program following his graduation in the spring of 2018.

Rushing did not play this season due to a leg injury.

In his three seasons with Wisconsin, Rushing caught 18 passes and 208 yards.

The senior did have the opportunity to redshirt in 2017 and return to Wisconsin next season, but he instead opted to transfer. As a grad transfer, he'll be immediately eligible to play in 2018.
