Nebraska picked up its first win of the season last weekend against Minnesota. Today, they added another major victory on the recruiting trail.

Vancouver (Wash.) Union four-star wide receiver Darien Chase announced his commitment to Nebraska this afternoon. Chase picked the Huskers over Boise State, Nevada, Utah and others.

Chase officially visited Lincoln last weekend, where he watched the Huskers take down the Golden Gophers. Coming off the visit, he made his decision public.

Thank you to everyone in my life that has gotten me to where I am today, after careful consideration I am 1000% committed to the university of Nebraska!! #GBR," he wrote.

Chase is the No. 21 athlete in the 2019 cycle, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings. Nebraska's 2019 class is shaping up nicely. Right now, it is ranked No. 24 in the country.

The Huskers may be 1-6 right now, but the future under Scott Frost certainly seems bright.
