One of the top wide receiver recruits in the 2020 class has announced his decommitment. Four-star wide receiver E. Jai Mason is back on the open market.

Mason, a four-star wide receiver, is a Clinton, Mississippi native. The four-star wideout is no longer committed to his home state school, though.

The four-star recruit took to Twitter on Monday night to announce his decommitment from Mississippi State.

"Please Respect My Decision! This was a very very hard decision," he tweeted.

Mason is ranked the No. 44 wide receiver in the 2020 class, per 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He's ranked the No. 239 overall prospect in the class.

There are several major programs involved in Mason's recruitment, including Arkansas, Florida, Florida State and Nebraska.

This is a significant loss for Mississippi State's class.

The Bulldogs' class is ranked the No. 16 class in the country.
