3 Schools Reportedly In The Mix For Transfer J.T. Daniels

JT Daniels drops back to pass.

Transfer quarterback JT Daniels began his career out on the West Coast playing for USC. Wouldn't it be fitting if he returned to the same coast and conference next season? According to college football insider Pete Thamel, there's a strong possibility the talented transfer ends up at Oregon State.

Daniels is visiting Corvallis and the Beavers today. Head coach Jonathan Smith has a nice track record of developing quarterbacks in his pass-happy offense. Daniels could be a nice fit for the program.

The Beavers aren't the only program in the mix to land Daniels, though. Per Thamel, Missouri and West Virginia could also be landing spots.

"Source: Georgia transfer quarterback J.T. Daniels is on a visit to Oregon State," Thamel tweeted. "He’s still expected to decide his eventual destination after spring ball, as he graduates from UGA later this spring and will enroll after that. Missouri and WVU are still expected to be in the mix."

JT Daniels potentially returning to the Pac-12? Sign us up. He wouldn't be the only former SEC quarterback playing in the conference.

Former Auburn star Bo Nix transferred to Oregon during the offseason. He's expected to win the Ducks' starting gig. How fun would it be to see Nix and Daniels go head-to-head in the heated Oregon-Oregon State rivalry later this year?

Should Daniels take his talents to Corvallis and become a Beaver?
