Justin Fields is expected to become the most-pursued quarterback on the transfer market this offseason. Georgia's five-star quarterback has put his name into the NCAA's transfer portal, allowing other schools to contact him.

The former No. 1 dual-threat QB recruit has yet to officially announce his plans, though he's expected to move on from Georgia's program following the Sugar Bowl.

Three major schools are reportedly standing out for Fields.

ESPN reports that Ohio State and two other major programs are the favorites for Fields.

From the report:

Sources told ESPN on Wednesday that Fields is interested in transferring to Ohio State, as star quarterback Dwayne Haskins is expected to enter April's NFL draft. Florida State and Oklahoma are other potential destinations for Fields, sources said.

Fields, from Kennesaw, Georgia, is expected to apply for a hardship waiver from the NCAA. If granted, the waiver would make him eligible to play in the 2019 season.

Fields has three seasons of eligibility remaining. He's expected to apply for a waiver from the NCAA to allow him to play right away in 2019.

Stay tuned.
