4-Star Dual-Threat QB Jalen Mayden Releases Top 5
Jalen "Moose" Mayden unveiled the five schools still in contention to land him.
4-star dual-threat quarterback recruit Jalen Mayden took to Twitter to update his recruitment. Mayden released a list of the five programs that he is considering for his college football career. The Texas native only received one offer from the state, despite being one of the best recruits in Texas.
So who made the top five?
Baylor, Louisville, Mississippi State, Nebraska, and Tennessee are all still in the race to land the 4-star quarterback prospect. It's interesting to note that Baylor is the only Texas school to offer Mayden a place.
Here's the full post from Mayden:
According to 247Sports' Composite Rankings, Mayden is the No. 10 dual-threat quarterback recruit in the 2018 recruiting class. Mayden is also the No. 27 recruit in the state of Texas.
The 4-star QB received 20 different offers from all around the country, but seems to be nearing the end of his recruitment process.
Will he take over for talented dual-threat quarterback Lamar Jackson at Louisville? Or will Mayden head to the SEC to play for Mississippi State or Tennessee?
It's anyone's guess at this stage in his recruitment, but each of these five teams will be eager to hear from the athletic quarterback.
