Another four-star offensive lineman has decommitted from Penn State, the second to do so in the last week.
Fort Washington (Md.) National Christian Academy four-star offensive guard Aaryn Parks backed off his pledge to the Nittany Lions this afternoon. Parks had been committed to PSU since late April.
Parks joins four-star offensive tackle Grant Toutant in decommitting from the Nittany Lions in the last few days. Toutant flipped to Ohio State on Sunday.
Based off Parks’ Twitter statement, it sounds like he feels like he rushed into his commitment.
“In a process of being a man, you have to make man-like decisions,” Parks wrote. “I have decided to de-commit from Penn State University. I feel as though I made my decision off of emotions and locked in too early without giving other universities an equal opportunity to recruit me. Penn State will continue to be a top choice on my list of schools that I am interested in, but as of right now, my recruitment is 100 percent back open.”
