As the focus shifts over to the 2020 recruiting class, four-star all-purpose back Ty Jordan is a major target for a number of major programs.
The all-purpose tailback from Mesquite, Texas has a bunch of offers on the table as he goes through his recruitment process. However, he recently shortened his list of potential destinations on Twitter.
Jordan posted a video montage of his own highlights, while also revealing which programs still remain in the hunt. Among them is in-state power Texas.
Other programs on his list includes Arkansas, Baylor, Houston, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Tennessee, USC, Utah, and Wisconsin.
All these schools in contention reside in major conferences, but Jordan’s relationship with the Texas’ coaching staff could sway his decision.
Current projections from 247Sports‘ crystal ball have him playing college football for the Longhorns, with all three of the early predictions going that way. It would allow him to remain close to his hometown and compete for a program with rich history.

Jordan is the No. 8 all-purpose back in his class, per 247Sports.
The expectation is that he’ll announce his commitment in the fall. Until then, the Longhorns will have to wait to find out whether its 2020 class will have a new addition.
We’ll keep you updated throughout Jordan’s recruitment process.
