He's looking elsewhere.

Seffner (Fla.) Armwood four-star wide receiver Warren Thompson announced his decommitment from Oregon on Saturday afternoon.

Thompson committed to Oregon when Willie Taggart was head coach, but decided to decommit from the Ducks with Taggart's departure. He's the No. 29 wide receiver recruit in the 2018 class according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

He announced his decision on Twitter.

Florida State, where Taggart is the head coach, is seen as the favorite to land the top South Florida recruit. If Thompson ends up choosing Florida State, he'll get to stay closer to home, and commit to the coach he chose in the first place.

It's a huge win for Taggart, if the Seminoles can land the top wideout.
