76-Year-Old Fan Dies Of Cardiac Arrest At Notre Dame-USC Game

Gut-wrenching news from South Bend tonight.

A 76-year-old fan in attendance at tonight's Notre Dame-USC game has died after suffering cardiac arrest, Notre Dame confirmed minutes ago.

According to a brief release from the school, the man went into cardiac arrest around 8:10 p.m.

Paramedics and fire department personnel responded immediately, but it was to no avail.

On the field, Notre Dame is routing USC 35-7.

However, all of that pales in comparison to human life. We extend our condolences to the family of the man who passed away.
