UCLA head coach Chip Kelly announced this morning several suspensions for the Bruins for the team's Week 1 game. Among the players suspended is a former five-star running back.

Soso Jamabo, a 5-star running back and the No. 2 recruit at his position in the 2015 class, is among the players suspended for the team's Week 1 game against Cincinnati.

There are six players in total suspended for UCLA's opening game.

Kelly's statement says that the reason for the suspension is a violation of "Athletic Department policies."

Here's the full release:

Jamabo, a 6-foot-2 running back, has 1,170 yards and 13 touchdowns during his career with the Bruins.
