A Big 10 Graduate Quarterback Is Transferring
Indiana's quarterback depth has taken a hit.
Brandon Dawkins, a graduate transfer from Arizona, has left the program before the start of the 2018 season.
The dual-threat quarterback was competing for the starting job. He's leaving about a week after Indiana named Peyton Ramsey the starting QB.
Mike Miller first reported the news.
"Quarterback Brandon Dawkins has left Indiana's program, per source. Dawkins, a grad transfer from Arizona, exits less than a week after Peyton Ramsey was named IU's starter. More soon," he tweeted.
Indiana opens its season on Saturday against FIU.
