There’s a very small chance No. 8 Auburn loses to Kent State on Saturday. After all, the Tigers are 2-0, with one of those wins coming against No. 15 Oregon. Not to mention, Kent State doesn’t pose much of a threat.
You’d be hard-pressed to find individuals who’d want to bet on the Golden Flashes. Or even the Tigers considering it’d be such a low payout.
But that isn’t stopping one bettor from placing some money down.
A bettor has placed a $1,000 money-line bet on the Tigers. An Auburn win would earn the bettor just $5.
A bettor at a Caesars Sportsbook placed a $1,000 money-line bet on Auburn at -20,000 to beat Kent State. per @The_Junkyard.
Bet would win a cool $5.

So to be clear — $1,000 placed for Auburn to win. If the Tigers beat Kent State, the bet wins $5. Is that even worth it?
