One of the top defensive back recruits in the country has flipped his commitment. He's headed from the Big 12 to the SEC.

Jarrian Jones, a four-star defensive back out of Mississippi, announced on Twitter late on Saturday that he was flipping his commitment. He had been committed to Oklahoma.

The four-star recruit is now committed to Mississippi State.

Here's his full decision:

This decision does not come as a surprise to Oklahoma fans, who were expecting to lose Jones at some point during his recruitment. It's extremely difficult to hold onto top recruits from SEC country.

Jones is ranked the No. 18 safety in the class by 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He also holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida and Michigan, among other programs.

Mississippi State's 2019 class is ranked the No. 13 class in the country.
