A Cleveland Radio Host Said He'd Eat Horse Poop If The Browns Drafted Baker Mayfield No. 1 Overall

A Cleveland radio host who was confident that the Browns wouldn't select Baker Mayfield at No. 1 overall now may have to pay up in a disgusting way. Aaron Goldhammer, a host on ESPN Cleveland, told his listeners in the days leading up to the NFL Draft that he'd eat "horse poop" if the Browns went with Mayfield.

Well, they did, and Goldhammer, if he wants to be a man of his word, will now have to follow through. Mayfield, who wasn't really being mentioned at No. 1 overall in the weeks leading up to the draft, wound up being the Browns top pick.

Goldhammer, even the morning of the draft, seemed to think he'd be safe. He tweeted a photo of himself with a horse.

Predictably, those who'd heard about Goldhammer's proclamation reminded him on Twitter after the pick.

It's unclear whether Goldhammer actually plans to follow through. We imagine that he's going to have some second thoughts about the whole thing.

Meanwhile, Mayfield completed one of the more unlikely journeys in NFL history. He walked on at both Texas Tech and Oklahoma, won a Heisman Trophy and wound up being the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft.
