Nebraska suffered an embarrassing home loss at the hands of Ohio State on Saturday night, as the Huskers were shellacked by the Buckeyes, 48-7.

Adrian Martinez had arguably the worst game of his college career, throwing three first-half interceptions in the blowout loss.

The Huskers entered the 2019 season with a lot of hype, but are now 3-2 on the season.

Martinez had a message for Nebraska fans following the loss.

"“This game is not going to define this team," he told reporters. "It won't."

While this loss was a brutal one, it's just one game, and the Huskers are still in solid shape when it comes to the Big Ten, at 1-1 on the year. The Huskers still have time to turn things around. Martinez knows he needs to get better. "I’m going to work on it, and get better.”

Next up for Nebraska is a home contest against Northwestern on Oct. 5.

Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. E.T. on FOX.
