Adrian Martinez has had better starts to games than the one he's having against No. 5 Ohio State at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska tonight.

Nebraska is now trailing Ohio State, 24-0, midway through the second quarter of tonight's primetime Big Ten game.

It's been a brutal performance for Martinez, who has already thrown three interceptions.

Martinez tossed an interception on Nebraska's first drive of the game. He then had an unlucky tipped interception on the Huskers' third possession. Martinez made it three INTs with a terrible throw on the Huskers' most-recent drive.

The sophomore quarterback entered the 2019 season with Heisman Trophy hype. Nebraska needs him to play at an elite level in order to compete in games like this. If Martinez is going to play this poorly, the Huskers have no chance.

Scott Frost does not seem to be happy with his quarterback's performance, either.

Martinez clearly has a lot of talent, showcased by a stellar true freshman season, though he's got a long way to go as a passer - and that's extremely evident against an elite secondary like Ohio State's.

This Ohio State-Nebraska game has already gotten really ugly and unless Martinez can turn things around, it'll probably get a lot worse.

The Buckeyes and the Huskers are playing on ABC.
