The Citadel isn't going to beat Alabama on Saturday, but for a while, it looked possible. The Bulldogs were tied with the Crimson Tide at halftime - 10-10. It's now 24-10 early in the third quarter.

Alabama was favored by over 50 points, and many believed the Crimson Tide would cover easily. During Saturday's contest, The Action Network tweeted out another bet you could have made ahead of the game.

To take The Citadel to win outright, you'd get some interesting odds. If you bet $100, and The Citadel pulled the upset, you'd make $333,333.

It's unclear which casino was actually offering that bet - but that isn't the point. The point is - you could make a small fortune if The Citadel somehow beat Alabama and you had the guts to call it.

At the moment, those who bet against Alabama to cover the spread are happy. But there's still a lot of football to be played.

We'll keep you updated on how the game turns out.
