Alabama Coach Uses 1 Word To Describe Donald Trump Attending Game

Donald Trump is set to attend Saturday night's game between No. 2 Georgia and No. 4 Alabama at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

This is not the first time that Trump, the 45th president of the United States, has taken in a major college football game. He's been at Alabama games in the past and some national title games, as well. This weekend, he'll attend the biggest game of the college football season to date. Trump is less than couple of months away from the presidential election. He's been trying to reach out to young voters and the college football world is a decent place to do that.

But how does Alabama's head coach, Kalen DeBoer, feel about Trump attending Saturday's big game?

He used one word to describe it.

DeBoer thinks that it's "cool."

Essentially, the former Washington Huskies head coach wants as many notable people as possible to be attending his team's games. That seems like solid logic.

"I’m sure there’s going to be a lot of celebrity-type people here," he added.

"People that want to come be a part of what’s happening on gameday. Everyone’s watching. So, you know, it’ll be great to have everyone who wants to come watch be here. For us, I told the guys this, with (College) Gameday and everything coming here as well, for the guys, try to take as much off of their plate other than maybe a few extra interviews toward the end of the week. The main thing is they get prepared to play the best football game that they’ve played this year. I’ve always challenged them to play the best football game they’ve ever played in their career. And so, that’s what matters when it comes down to what we can control. But yeah, it is kind of cool that we have a lot of people who want to come be a part of the atmosphere and add to the excitement and energy the game will bring."

It should be a fun night.

Alabama and Georgia are scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. E.T. on Saturday night. The game will air on ESPN.
