The Crimson Tide received a visit from the elite quarterback last weekend.
After he de-committed from Penn State, four schools appeared to be in serious contention for Justin Fields, the top dual-threat QB recruit for 2018.
It looks like you can add another school to that list, though.
Fields took a visit to Alabama this past weekend and the Crimson Tide appear to be getting in the race for the five-star quarterback.
Auburn, Florida, Florida State and Georgia are the other schools currently heavily involved.
The 6-foot-3, 221-pound dual-threat prospect is ranked the No. 3 overall recruit in the class by 247Sports' Composite Rankings.
Florida and Florida State might be the two favorites at the moment, though there could be a long way to go.
