Alabama Linebacker Says His Cousin Was Killed In House Shooting

The Crimson Tide's linebacker says his cousin died in a shooting.

Alabama's Mack Wilson shared some tragic news on Twitter today. His cousin has died.

Wilson, a rising junior linebacker, says that his cousin was shot to death in his home. At this point, no other details have been released.

The Crimson Tide standout shared the news on Twitter.

"Cousin just died man..." Wilson wrote. "Sitting on the bed in his house and somebody starts shooting inside the house and hits him in the stomach and the chest. It’s a sad world we live in Asking for prayers for me and my family please!"

Wilson says his cousin was shot twice.

"Lil brother birthday today and I get a call saying my cousin was shot twice and he died.. I’m messed up right now," Wilson shared. "Can't believe this."

Our thoughts and prayers are with Wilson and his family. May his cousin rest in peace.

Wilson is a Montgomery, Ala. native. He was a five-star recruit in the 2016 class.
