Alabama's Ryan Anderson Illegally Clapped Before A Snap, Washington Fumbled As A Result

Alabama's Ryan Anderson got away with one on Saturday night.

Alabama senior linebacker Ryan Anderson has had a huge impact in Saturday night's Peach Bowl - both with his 26-yard interception return for a score and a questionable move he pulled in the third quarter of the contest.

Facing a 3rd-and-6 from its own 13-yard-line, Washington quarterback Jake Browning was barking out orders to his teammates. Anderson clapped, and Washington's center snapped the ball, thinking it was Browning. It led to a fumble and a lost opportunity. Check it out:

It's hard to know whether Anderson did it on purpose, but regardless, it wasn't called. Alabama currently leads 24-7 in the fourth quarter.
