Tua Tagovailoa has returned to Alabama following his early-week surgery on his hip injury, suffered last Saturday against Mississippi State. The Crimson Tide quarterback appears to be in good spirits.

Alabama's football program shared a video of Tagovailoa greeting his teammates and coaches ahead of today's game.

Tagovailoa was smiling and appeared to be very happy to see everyone.

The Crimson Tide's quarterback also had a message to his teammates about Mac Jones. He wants them to have Jones' back like he does theirs.

Tagovailoa is out for the rest of the season with his hip injury, though it's clear that he's going to remain close to this Crimson Tide team.

Alabama is set to kick off against Western Carolina today at 12 p.m. E.T.

The game will be on ESPN.
