Alabama is one of a few major college football programs yet to name its starting quarterback for Week 1. The Crimson Tide have two capable QBs in Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa. Nick Saban seems to be happy waiting as long as possible to announce a decision.

It doesn't look like one is coming anytime soon, either.

Alabama is set to open the year on Sept. 1 against Louisville. It's a primetime game on ABC.

ESPN college football host Chris Fowler recently spoke on the phone with Saban in anticipation of Saturday's game. Of course, he asked him about his quarterbacks. And, unsurprisingly, Alabama's head coach didn't give up much.

Fowler recalled the conversation on Twitter last night.

"Phone conversation w/ Saban. A topic: how will he use his QBs this year? Eventually, Nick says 'you’re just trying to pry information out of me. And I’m trying not to reveal anything. Aight?' Yep, that’s pretty much spot on. To be continued next week!" Fowler tweeted.

OK then.

Most do believe that Tagovailoa will be the starter, but Saban has surprised us before.

Alabama and Louisville are set to kick off at 8 p.m. E.T. on Saturday. The game will be on ABC.
