Alabama tight end Major Tennison was arrested.

Alabama rising sophomore tight end Major Tennison found himself in some legal trouble early this morning.

According to the Tuscaloosa Sheriff's Office, Tennison was arrested on a second-degree marijuana possession charge. He remained in jail and had secured a $300 bond, according to an inmate search.

The charge is a Class A misdemeanor for "small amounts of marijuana deemed for personal use."

A four-star prospect out of Bullard (Tex.), Tennison appeared in five games for the Crimson Tide as a true freshman. He did not play in either College Football Playoff contest.

Tennison finished with two receptions for 30 yards. His first catch, for nine yards, came against Vanderbilt.

He later hauled in a 21-yard reception against Mercer.
