Alabama vs. Florida preview:
What is there to say about Alabama that hasn’t already been said. The Tide is really, really, good. They are the most complete team in college football, and are one of two remaining unbeatens in the FBS, the other being Western Michigan. The heavy favorite to win the College Football Playoff Championship yet again, its hard to argue that Alabama will have any trouble with Florida en route to another SEC Championship.
After defeating No. 16 LSU by a score of 16-10, Florida came out and laid an egg against Florida State. Metaphorically of course. The Gators managed just 13 points en route to a 31-13 loss. If Florida is to have any chance against Alabama, its offense will need to manage more than the 14.75 points per game it has managed over the past four games.
The Tide and Gators have played 38 times in history, with the Tide holding a 24-14 advantage.
Alabama vs. Florida prediction:
Alabama is the No. 1 team in the country for a reason. The Crimson Tide is really solid both offensively and defensively. Meanwhile, the Gators have been inept on offense most of the year, but especially over the past four games.
Does Florida have any chance? With a good defensive effort, the Gators could keep it close. But they can't score enough to contend.
Bama takes this one en route to a spot in the College Football Playoff.
