Alabama vs. LSU preview:

Alabama has won eight in a row, with its last three wins coming over ranked opponents. The Crimson Tide continue their tough stretch, this time against rival LSU. The game, to be played in Death Valley, could go a long way to deciding who will win the SEC and get a chance to play in the College Football Playoff.

LSU is coming off of its biggest win on the season with a 38-21 victory over No. 23 Ole Miss. Ed Orgeron has turned the Tigers season around with three straight victories since taking over for the fired Les Miles. This will be the Tigers toughest test of the season.

The Crimson Tide and Tigers have played 80 times in history, with the Tide holding a 50-25-5 advantage.

Alabama vs. LSU prediction:

Both Alabama and LSU got an extra week of rest after picking up their biggest victories of the season. This is a battle for SEC supremacy, with LSU looking like a new team after interim head coach Ed Orgeron took over the program.

Alabama has been a juggernaut all season and are coming off of an impressive performance against then No. 6 Texas A&M. Look for Nick Saban's team to be ready for its toughest test of the season, as the Tide travels to Death Valley.
