Alphonse Taylor, Suspended Alabama OL, Cleared To Practice
Alabama offensive lineman Alphonse Taylor, who was suspended indefinitely last month following a DUI arrest, has been cleared to practice.
Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban announced the news during a press conference this afternoon.
While Taylor can practice, it is not clear if Saban will lift his suspension for the team's season opener against USC.

Taylor started all 15 games at right guard or the Crimson Tide last season. He was tabbed as a preseason second-team All-SEC selection by the media this summer, but had been relegated to second string during spring practice because of weight issues.
Alabama will open up against USC on Sept. 3.
