We're still a few months away from the start of the college football season, but news on the college football front never stops.

Before the 2019 season kicks off, 247Sports went through a list of the most-difficult schedules in the country. Not surprisingly, the SEC owns the list as teams face off against the likes of Alabama and Georgia.

But which school has the hardest schedule?

That title belongs to South Carolina.

Here's the breakdown from 247Sports:

Senior quarterback Jake Bentley and a host of key returning starters on both sides of the football provide reasons for optimism, but we're talking about battling a slate that includes four preseason Top 10 teams, Texas A&M, Appalachian State and North Carolina, who will be itching to win Mack Brown's debut in Charlotte to open the season. Eight wins would be a Houdini act for Muschamp.

The Gamecocks play host to Alabama, Kentucky, Florida and Clemson - which is difficult enough. However, it doesn't stop there.

Muschamp and company will head on the road to face off against Georgia, Tennessee and Texas A&M, giving the Gamecocks the most difficult schedule in the country.

247Sports isn't alone in crowning the Gamecocks, as ESPN believes they face the toughest test during the 2019 season as well.
