Ryan Day and the Ohio State Buckeyes won the Big Ten this past season. Will there be a repeat in the 2020 season?
Ohio State will likely enter the 2020 season as the heavy favorite to win the Big Ten. The Buckeyes will have Justin Fields back under center, along with basically all of his top wide receivers.
There will be some heavy competition in the Big Ten East Division, though.
One analyst is predicting the winner of the Ohio State-Penn State game to take home the league championship.
The winner of Penn State-Ohio State wins the B1G
Ohio State is going to enter the season as the favorite to win the B1G and return to the College Football Playoff. The only team that will likely be able to compete with the Buckeyes is Penn State. And, while Ohio State still has a talent advantage, Penn State isn’t far behind. This season was supposed to be a rebuilding year for James Franklin and the Nittany Lions, and still the program finished 11-2. With a good chunk of experience and skill returning, Penn State should be one of the 10 best teams in college football. It should be an interesting, high-stakes showdown in Happy Valley again in 2020.
That’s a fair enough prediction. Ohio State has dominated the Big Ten as of late, but the Buckeyes have had trouble in State College. It’s possible Penn State could knock Ohio State off in that game.
Who will come out of the West?
Saturday Tradition is taking Purdue, which is pretty bold. The Boilermakers are coming off a losing regular season.
