Several college football games are either canceled, moved, or postponed as the East Coast braces for Hurricane Florence to make landfall. Now, another game can be added to the list.

East Carolina University announced it won't travel to Blacksburg to play the Virginia Tech Hokies this weekend.

ECU cited "significant imminent safety concerns" for its decision not to travel for the game. In addition, the school also announced it plans to cancel classes for the rest of the week.

Here's the announcement from the program.

Virginia Tech sits at No. 13 in the nation after wins over Florida State and William and Mary. Meanwhile, ECU put in an impressive effort last weekend against North Carolina with a 41-19 over the Tar Heels.

The school announced it hopes to reschedule the game against Virginia Tech, though with the current schedules of each program, that seems unlikely.
