The AP Poll Will Be Delayed Until Monday Because Georgia vs. South Carolina Was Moved

College football's AP Poll will be delayed until Monday due to Hurricane Matthew.

College football fans who look forward to seeing the AP Poll every Sunday afternoon will have to wait an extra day this week. Due to Hurricane Matthew, which forced Georgia and South Carolina to delay their game until Sunday afternoon, the poll will not be released until Monday. The AP's Ralph D. Russo says that Monday at Noon is looking like the time it'll be unveiled.

The contest between the Bulldogs and the Gamecocks was scheduled to be played Saturday, but given Hurricane Matthew's trajectory, school officials felt more comfortable pushing out the game. As noted earlier, LSU and Florida have postponed their game with no makeup date scheduled.

It's unclear whether the Coaches' Poll will follow suit.
