Former Arkansas quarterback Ty Storey has found a new home. Storey will transfer to Western Kentucky, he announced this morning.
Storey threw just three passes in his first three seasons at Arkansas, but became the Razorbacks' primary starter in 2018. He threw for 1,584 yards, 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, making nine starts.
Storey entered the NCAA transfer portal in early January. He announced his transfer decision on Twitter and Instagram today.
"Looking forward to the next chapter in my football career. #gotops #wku," Storey wrote.
Storey will have one season to play at WKU. He is eligible immediately.
"WKU showed a lot of love early," Storey told HawgSports.com. We stayed in contact through the whole process. I really like all of their coaches and the players that I have met. Watching a lot of their offense the last month, I fell in love with it. They do a lot of great [things] with their scheme. I can’t wait to get on campus."
Ironically, he'll get a chance to face his former teammates. Arkansas and Western Kentucky are scheduled to play on November 9.
