Arkansas vs. Virginia Tech preview:

After winning three straight to start the season, the Arkansas Razorbacks alternated wins and losses for the rest of the season to end up at 7-5. They'll enter the bowl with a little chip on their shoulder after letting Mizzou score 21 unanswered points in the second half to steal the win. The offense has been balanced and potent, but the defense struggles to stop the run. They'll have quite a time trying to slow down Virginia Tech's high-powered offense.

Virginia Tech came up short in the program's first ACC title game since 2011, losing 42-35 to the Clemson Tigers. The Hokies were unable to keep up Deshaun Watson and the Clemson offense. However, they should be able to match the Razorbacks score for score.

Arkansas vs. Virginia Tech prediction:

I'm expecting a shootout between these two explosive offenses. It honestly might come down to which team has the ball last. I give Virginia Tech the slight edge because of their dual-threat quarterback Jerod Evans. He's potent through the air and on the ground and will certainly be the X-factor for the Hokies.
