Auburn vs. Alabama preview:
Auburn had all of the momentum in the world after rolling through Arkansas by a score of 56-3. Then the Tigers struggled against a mediocre Vanderbilt team before being upset by Georgia. Auburn scored just seven points against the Bulldogs, after putting up 56 just three weeks before. The Tigers got back on track last week with a 55-0 win over Alabama A&M.
What is there to say about Alabama that hasn't already been said. The Tide a really, really, good. They are the most complete team in college football, and are one of two remaining unbeatens in the FBS, the other being Western Michigan. The heavy favorite to win the College Football Playoff Championship yet again, its hard to argue that Alabama will have any trouble with Auburn or Florida in the SEC Championship Game.
The Tigers and Crimson Tide have played 80 times in history, with the Tide holding a 44-35-1 advantage.
Auburn vs. Alabama prediction:
Don't look past your opponent. Especially when that opponent has a history of pulling the upset.
Those should be the words from Nick Saban to his Alabama team. Auburn is a solid opponent who plays well defensively and has a solid run game.
As long as Alabama respects the Tigers, the Tide will walk away with yet another win.
Saban will keep his players in line, and they will play inspired.
