Auburn vs. Georgia preview:
Auburn dropped two games early in the season to No. 2 Clemson and then No. 17 Texas A&M. Since the loss to the Aggies Auburn has not lost a game, and has some solid wins on its resume. The Tigers have reeled off six straight wins, and are challenging for a top spot in the SEC. It looks like the SEC champion could come down to the last week of the season in a matchup of Alabama and Auburn. Whoever wins that contest should go on to win the SEC.
Georgia started off the season strongly, but has lost steam throughout it last six games. After starting the season with three straight wins, the Bulldogs have dropped four of six, and barely beat Kentucky last weekend. In Kirby Smart's first season as the Georgia head coach, the Bulldogs have not been consistent.
The Tigers and Bulldogs have played 119 times in history, with the Bulldogs holding a 56-55-8 advantage.
Auburn vs. Georgia prediction:
Auburn is one of the hottest teams in college football right now, while the Bulldogs are struggling on both sides of the ball.
The Tigers will win this one handily. After a blowout victory over Arkansas, Auburn looked sluggish against Vanderbilt. The Tigers will get back to playing dominant football at the line of scrimmage and take this one.
