It's a new era in Columbus. Head coach Ryan Day is making his coaching debut for Ohio State on Saturday.

But there's also a new quarterback for the Buckeyes. Georgia transfer Justin Fields will take command of what many expect to be an explosive offense.

Ahead of Ohio State's season opener against Florida Atlantic University, an epic photo of Fields was captured.

Kyle Robertson, photographer for The Columbus Dispatch, tweeted his photo of Fields prior to the game. The picture shows Fields in the tunnel behind the rest of the team.

Fields is clearly taking in the incredible venue ahead of his first start for his new team. The picture captures the emotions of what college football is all about.

National analysts are high on the Buckeyes this season. ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit raves about the Buckeyes and believes they're in for a big season.

"Rest assured, Ohio State seems to have a chip on their shoulder with all the talk on everybody but Ohio State,” Herbstreit said, via 247Sports. "That seems to have really lit a fire and I think they’re ready to go out and play today.”

Expect a big day from Fields and the Ohio State offense against an outmatched FAU defense.

Fields has already scored 3 touchdowns, including a ridiculous 51-yard score to open things up.

Ohio State and FAU are playing on FOX.
