Georgia's Wide Receivers Reportedly Barked At Baker Mayfield Prior To The Rose Bowl

Prior to the Rose Bowl, Baker Mayfield heard it from a few Georgia players.

Before the start of the Rose Bowl on Monday night, Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield took some time to catch passes at both sides of the field - a routine he's performed before a few games this season. A little foreshadowing - Mayfield even caught some passes in the end zone.

As a result, a few Georgia wide receivers were less than pleased. They made sure to let Mayfield know it too. Via George Marshalek of WSBTV:

As for the Heisman winner? He didn't seem to be bothered by the chatter.

Oddly enough, in the first half, Mayfield had more touchdown catches than all of Georgia's wide receivers combined.
