Oklahoma's football program landed another major quarterback this morning, as five-star Brock Vandagriff announced his commitment to the Sooners.

Vandagriff, a five-star pro-style QB out of Georgia, is the No. 3 quarterback in the class and a top 20 overall prospect for 2020.

Oklahoma has had some major success at the quarterback position in recent years, from Baker Mayfield to Kyler Murray, with Jalen Hurts set to take over this year.

Mayfield took to Twitter shortly after the commitment news broke to send Vandagriff a message.

"Welcome home man. Keep the tradition going," he wrote.

It's looking like Oklahoma will be set at the quarterback position basically every season, as long as Lincoln Riley is leading the Sooners, anyway.

Oklahoma is off to a fast start in the 2021 class, with commitments from a five-star quarterback and a four-star wide receiver.

The Sooners are entering the 2019 season, meanwhile, ranked inside the top 10 once again.
