Baker Mayfield Wins Maxwell Award As Nation's Top Player

The top player has been named.
On Thursday night the top players in the country were awarded with their respective trophies.
The Maxwell award, given to the nation's top player, featured three finalists: Bryce Love of Stanford, Saquon Barkley of Penn State, and Baker Mayfield of Oklahoma
The winner?
Baker Mayfield.
Mayfield cleaned up on Thursday night, also winning the Davey O'Brien award, given to the nation's best quarterback.
The Heisman Trophy will be announced on Saturday.
