Baylor vs. Boise State preview:
Oh man, Baylor. What a season it was for the Bears. They came out with a bang, rattling off six straight wins. Then, after losing to Texas in week eight, they flushed their entire season down the toilet and lost five more to end up at 6-6. It was strange. In four of their six losses they allowed 42 points or more. Now, they have an opportunity to salvage the season with a bowl victory.
Boise State finished with a 10-2 record, losing twice this year by a combined nine points. They could be undefeated and in a premier bowl game. In terms of players, RB Jeremy McNichols has been the workhorse for the Broncos. With 1,663 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns on the year, he’ll look to cap off his incredible 2016 campaign by terrorizing the Bears.
Baylor vs. Boise State prediction:
Boise State dominates this game. If the last six games for the Bears were any indication, Baylor loves to give up points, and the Broncos will be happy to oblige whether it’s through the air on the ground. The defense will be dialed in all game, and they’ll cruise to an easy victory.
